I love this place, yes it's pricey. You know what's also pricey? Hurts donuts. More even. And they don't even taste different from average donuts. Anyone that recommends hurts donuts over FTD, doesn't love you. Funky Town Donuts taste wonderful, the texture is somewhere between a donut and a yeast cinnamon roll. They taste better than moist donuts I've had by far. They gave assorted donut holes and you can get one flavor or a mixture. They are seriously so good

I tried them for the first time. I ordered a glazed a bacon and an apple fritter for about $8. They were fresh the bacon donut was the best. To expensive to not be the best I’ve had in Fort Worth. Service was exceptional

I work downtown and see this place all the time. I don't eat donuts, but my wife loves them, especially real ones (not Dunkin or Krispy Kreme), so I brought her downtown for lunch and took her to Funky Town for dessert. They closed at 3, so I was relieved we got there by 2:45. I noticed there were no donuts in the display case, but the sandwich board was still on the sidewalk with monthly specials and I confirmed closing time on the door. Unfortunately, the door was locked and the employee inside was making the cut throat motion to indicate they were closed. I understand people want to get off as close to closing as possible, but if they want to go at 2:45, then change the hours to 2:30. I doubt we'll be back.

Full discretion, I wanna like the kalache. I tried them like three times. But there's something about them I just don't like. Everything else their is awesome. The apple fritter; awesome. The donut holes; satisfaction. The maple bacon; stellar. My coworkers and love donut Fridays. The young ladies who work there are always helpful and awesome.

The donuts are great, it's small so don't expect a large selection. It's expensive, but worth trying. I was satisfied with the overall experience.

Workers were really nice and seemed happy to be working even though it was New Year’s Eve. We tried 6 donuts and liked them all. We will definitely return next time we’re in Fort Worth.

We’ve wanted to visit for a while but it never worked with our schedule (we’re from out of town). We stopped by on Sunday morning - glad we did.Employees were very friendly - everything looked tasty and it was hard to pick. We ended up getting a classic glazed, chocolate glazed, apple fritter, and a jalapeño bagel dog (as well as a coffee). The donuts and fritter were great (as expected). The real surprise was the bagel dog. It was spicy and the bagel was tasty and chewy. I really enjoyed it - I wish I had bought a couple more to take home as I’ve never had anything like it before.We’ll be back the next time we’re in town!
