There are a lot of “speakeasy” type establishments, but most often fail to meet the expectation one conjures when they imagine what a quality speakeasy experience should look, feel, and taste like. The Amber Room meets and exceeds these imagined expectations. From the overall vibe & aesthetic, to the engraved ice cubes, and their well curated whisky library this place is all about ensuring you remember the experience. The icing on the cake is when the barkeep is on point too. Derek is a legit cocktail artist who is appropriately conversational, but laser focused on ensuring you’re comfortable and getting the full Amber Room experience. It doesn’t hurt he is the world’s “okayest” bartender either. And according to rumors on X (Twitter) his Whisky Sour is probably one of the best in the entire DFW market. Great place for a date. Great place for good, soulful, libation infused conversations, but comfortable enough for a solo guy (like me) to pull up to the bar and settle in for a few rounds. Keep The Amber Room at the top of your go-to places in the DFW area!

The amber room is certainly worth checking out! A speakeasy style cocktail lounge, gives off a great calm and chill vibe. The manager, Homer (like the Iliad, not The Simpsons), stopped by to introduce himself and see how we were enjoying our evening and ended up chatting for a bit. Great service! The bartenders Derrick and Drew are top notch! They know there stuff and are great to sit and chat with while having a drink. I even learned about some drinks I had never had. This place just feels right, give it a try!

Me and my buddy found this place (it’s a speakeasy so no clear signage) just to grab a few cocktails. We sat at the bar and both bartenders were so great at curating their recommendations to our palate. They made a few cocktails that were off menu too and it was great (ask for the chicken enchilada lol)

This unique restaurant shares property with the Amber Room. The name of the restaurant is Wishbone & Flint. My wife and I had a great time. We order the same dish, a fantastic fillete mignon accompanied with a nice bottle of Pinot Noir from Williamette Valley branded Inscription. Mr Chad served our table with elega ce and good taste. We are glad we decided for this joint. I recommend it.

Fun speakeasy in Fort Worth. Having never been, getting inside was a novel thing.
Once in you'd be like, "ok, it's a bar." It's so much more. The bartenders are amazing. The work and care the put into their craft is easily noticeable. This isn't just cranking out drinks with better ingredients. It's not a painstaking art show either.
Like all good cocktail bars, they have their menu, and then you can just trust the bartender with a general flavor profile and let them give you something amazing you'd never thought of otherwise.
