A truly magical experience! Erica and Brady took me out on the trail ride with horse Gary and it was the best thing ever. They answered all questions about the horses, the training and anything else that came to mind. Would always do it again, highly recommend!

We had the chance to go horseback riding here today and had such a wonderful experience! When we called beforehand, we were told to arrive about 30 minutes before the ride so we would have enough time to fill out the paperwork and take care of the payment. When we arrived, we were welcomed very warmly. Before the ride, our guide Brady gave us a short introduction and explained everything we needed to know. He was incredibly friendly and chatted with us throughout the ride, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. The trail took us across the ranch and even through a small river. Neither of us had ever been on a horse before, but that was absolutely no problem! The horses are very well trained, and Brady’s instructions made us feel comfortable and safe right from the beginning. The ride itself was incredibly peaceful, relaxing, and scenic. The only downside was the Texas heat – but of course, no one can do anything about that! ;) Luckily, a lot of the trail was in the shade, which definitely helped. We felt very well taken care of the entire time. Whenever one of the horses decided to do something slightly different from what we wanted, Brady immediately helped us and showed us exactly what to do. When we returned, they also asked us right away how we enjoyed the experience, which we really appreciated. If we ever make it back to Texas, we will definitely come back for another ride! I forgot to ask my horse’s name :( but she was so lovely ! And loves to eat Just like me hahaha, This place is really great. As a first time riding a horse for me and my friend we were very happy with the outcome. ❤️ they tell you basic instructions to follow so you can ride your horse safely, Horses are all well trained and on their best behavior. The trail was nice and we were able to enjoy the ride with no issues! They let us take pictures and videos of all the ride, but honestly if you put your phone aside for a little bit , you’ll enjoy it even more! Staff was friendly and patient for those who were a little scared. They have a little store where you can purchase any items/souvenirs. Definitely coming back with my family and friends. 🐴❤️ thank you guys for an amazing experience.

We planned on an hour ride and just because we hit a little bit of traffic and was barely 5min late we only got the chance to do 30min at full price would not recommend

We had the best time at Benbrook! Make sure you ask for junior & vanessa. They were the best in making sure we all felt comfortable and had fun!!

I take lessons here and everyone is so sweet! The horses are treated very well and the teachers are knowledgeable and want you to succeed! The prices are super reasonable. Junior was very helpful at my first lesson and in setting up future lessons! He’s a great instructor! Also, if you’re scared to start, the horses are all super gentle and true sweeties.

Loved our trail ride. Sammie, our guide was excellent. She answered all our novice questions with grace and it's obvious she loves her job and loves horses. The trail was beautiful and peaceful. Just what we needed! Thanks Benbrook Stables. We will be back!

We came for a trail ride for my daughters birthday. The kids had a ball. They don’t force nose to rear walking only. They’re still not going to do an all out run or even a cantor but they will at least trot which doesn’t happen on most trail rides. My daughter was thrilled with that. The guides were wonderful as well , answering questions, giving pointers to the three young ones (as well as adults). We had 3, Junior, Bart and Payton. Thank you! There is also a cute shop where you initially check in. You can use credit card for the shop. The trail rides are cash only. We were prepared so it wasn’t an issue. There’s easy parking as well. Just look for the signs, pass the home on the left and behind it on the left you’ll see the parking.

This was really a 4.5 out of 5, but better than a 4. Everyone that worked there was extremely friendly. Our guide, Junior, was very friendly and helpful — we enjoyed referring to him as “Rip”. The downside of the trail ride was that outside of one deviation (a fun ride down a creek bed) it was the same route out and back. I would have preferred a circular path with no repeating routes.
