    What makes it fun

The Chisholm Trail Mural is an iconic outdoor artwork in Sundance Square. Stop by the Chisholm Trail Mural for a picture with your date and admire the intricacies of this famous painting. The Chisholm Trail Mural is 3 stories high and embodies the cowboy spirit of Fort Worth. The mural commemorates the Chisholm Trail cattle drives of the late 1800s and the role Fort Worth played in those cattle drives.

I don't recall the water fountain in front when I was here 20 years ago. But it sure added fun for the kids in the summer. The sitting area around it is a nice addition. Don't forget about the giant blinking cowboy hat.

I visited during New Years Eve. Sundance Square was packed with cheerful people. Along with the big rhinestones encrusted Cowboy Hat, this big mural was my favorite. Very detailed and huge mural. It's definitely worth seeing it in person.

Beautiful mural commerating cattle drives completed in 1988! Definitely worth a picture while visiting Sundance Square!! It's a huge mural and you can sit in front of it and watch the water at Sundance Square.
