The Fort Worth Botanic Garden is absolutely beautiful and such a peaceful place for senior photos. There is so much to see, and the gardens are very well maintained.

The only reasons I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 are that it could really use more signage and clearer directions throughout the gardens. At times, it was difficult to figure out where we were or which direction to go to see certain areas. I’d also love to see more shaded areas and covered seating, especially during the hot Texas summer months. A few more places to escape the sun would make the experience much more comfortable.

Overall, we really enjoyed our visit and would definitely recommend it. With better directional signage and additional shade, it would easily be a 5-star experience!

I visited the Fort Worth Botanic Garden whilst I was visiting the USA for the FIFA World Cup and I wanted a peaceful change from the city and crowds. I was very impressed with the range of planting and the Japanese Garden was the best I've seen outside Japan - the hard landscaping, planting and water features made for a serene relaxing environment on a hot Texas afternoon. Compared to the other Botanic Garden I visited whilst in Dallas I much preferred the Fort Worth one - it had more variety and the Japanese Garden itself was worth the entry fee. My only complaint would be the difficulty in getting there by public transport - I realise that is not normally a consideration in the USA, but it's a shame that none of the local bus services stopped near the entrance.

The Fort Worth Botanic Garden is an absolute gem. The grounds are beautifully maintained, the layouts are thoughtful, and every section feels like its own little world.

The Japanese Garden is especially stunning — peaceful pathways, koi ponds, and picture‑perfect bridges.

The Rose Garden is equally impressive when in bloom, and the staff clearly takes pride in keeping everything vibrant and healthy.

It’s the perfect place for a relaxing walk, family outing, or photography day. Plenty of shaded areas, clean facilities, and friendly staff make the experience even better. Easily one of the best attractions in Fort Worth.

Highly recommend visiting — you’ll leave feeling refreshed.

The Fort Worth Botanic Garden is absolutely beautiful and much larger than I expected. We spent several hours walking the grounds and still felt like there was more to see. Every area has its own unique character, from colorful flower beds to peaceful shaded paths and water features.

The LEGO exhibit was a fun bonus, but the gardens themselves were the real highlight. Everything was well maintained, easy to navigate, and offered plenty of great opportunities for photography. If you’re looking for a relaxing way to spend a morning or afternoon, this is definitely worth a visit.

As a wedding and engagement photographer in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, the Fort Worth Botanic Garden is one of my absolute favorite places to photograph. Whether I’m capturing an engagement session or a full wedding day, the entire property offers such a beautiful and timeless backdrop.

The gardens are incredibly well maintained and every area feels unique. From the lush greenery and seasonal blooms to the stone architecture and peaceful pathways, there is so much variety for photos without ever feeling repetitive. It is one of those locations that photographs beautifully in every season and in every type of light.

The staff has always been kind and helpful, and the overall experience at the garden is consistently wonderful. I highly recommend the Fort Worth Botanic Garden to any couple looking for a beautiful location for engagement photos or a wedding day.

We recently visited the Fort Worth Botanic Garden and had such a great experience, especially for the kids. They absolutely loved it and even brought a camera along to take photos of the butterflies, which made it even more fun and interactive for them.

The gardens are beautiful, peaceful, and well-maintained, with plenty to explore at your own pace. It’s the kind of place where you can slow down, enjoy nature, and let the kids be curious. Whether you’re walking the paths or stopping to take in the details, it’s a really enjoyable outing for the whole family. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the Fort Worth area.

We are a family of 3, and we greatly enjoyed it. Now your choice of time of day and year greatly affects the experience. However, we went for my son to enjoy the dino statues, and we had a blast. There are plenty of places to sit but no picnic tables. You use a blanket on the ground. Restrooms are scattered by section. U can bring your own food and drinks. Good amount of parking but I suggest you expect it to be packed. Mornings seems to be great!

Very well laid out. Beautiful plants. Great variety.

Japanese garden is OUTSTANDING.

Also, be sure to visit the butterfly enclosure. Truly outstanding variety of species and lots of knowledgeable staff/volunteers around to answer questions.

Only negative thing I have to say is the plastic dinosaurs. They look fake and the fake roars really detract from the natural environment.

A great experience for an out of town traveler like me. Fun for the whole family. My son loved the dinosaur stuff they had going on. Lots of work and effort went into this place. Only complaint was that we had difficulty reading the map/ getting on the right path, but once we got going in the right direction it flowed much better. The fishy’s and turtles a huge hit within our group as well. I was impressed by how large this place was.
