We are a family of 3, and we greatly enjoyed it. Now your choice of time of day and year greatly affects the experience. However, we went for my son to enjoy the dino statues, and we had a blast. There are plenty of places to sit but no picnic tables. You use a blanket on the ground. Restrooms are scattered by section. U can bring your own food and drinks. Good amount of parking but I suggest you expect it to be packed. Mornings seems to be great!

Very well laid out. Beautiful plants. Great variety.Japanese garden is OUTSTANDING.Also, be sure to visit the butterfly enclosure. Truly outstanding variety of species and lots of knowledgeable staff/volunteers around to answer questions.Only negative thing I have to say is the plastic dinosaurs. They look fake and the fake roars really detract from the natural environment.

A great experience for an out of town traveler like me. Fun for the whole family. My son loved the dinosaur stuff they had going on. Lots of work and effort went into this place. Only complaint was that we had difficulty reading the map/ getting on the right path, but once we got going in the right direction it flowed much better. The fishy’s and turtles a huge hit within our group as well. I was impressed by how large this place was.
