We tried to eat here a year ago and there was almost a two hour wait and no space at the bar, so we left. This time it was Easter. Almost completely empty, we had just missed the rush.
Malcolm, our server, was a wealth of knowledge. He's also a bartender so he knew a lot of information about the cocktails. Super friendly. Very attentive. We spoke to several staff members and all of them were very friendly.🙃
The food was the bomb! Perfectly crispy flautas. I'm not big on chicken thigh meat... But these were so juicy and savory. Delicious.🤤 Salsa was perfection! Chips are thicker than I normally like them, but very crispy and delicious.😍
They have fantastic cocktails! We thoroughly enjoyed the maple old fashioned. Aiden, the bartender, let my boyfriend watch him make it. Later I went and ordered two sipping shots at the bar just so I could tip Aiden 100% specifically since we don't carry cash. Thank you for the education, Aiden. ♥️🍹
I don't like avocados or guacamole but I'm determined to. And this was the FIRST time in my life that I had something with guacamole in it and absolutely loved it. The texture wasn't like normal guacamole, more like a thick sauce. I think it had garlic and lime juice? It was delicious!🥑🥰
The patio, interior and even the bathroom are all eye candy. Even the glasses of water were thick, nice quality glasses. Our one and only complaint was small bits of the tree above us kept falling into our drinks and food. We're the type that we just flick it out and go on. But I could see where some people might get upset.
Overall, this was an excellent experience! One of the best we've had in Fort Worth.😊
