Quite and a little out of the way, but near downtown Fort Worth. Mostly unpaved trails and a bit rugged. Street parking only, but not a problem.

It's a beautiful area to go for a hike. There are plenty of trails to choose from. When you get deeper into some of the trails, they do become a little overgrown. You shouldn't let that deter you from enjoying this beautiful area.

Tbh: Went there in winter. Looks like a garbage dump

Edit1: the entrance area all around the playground is well taken care of. But further in a little down the largest trail in the middle (past those large rocks) is a lot of trash left and right on and off the trail. Maybe that was just because someone dumped his trash recently but it was kind of a letdown. The view on the skyline it beautiful though.

We always enjoy hiking the trails at Tandy Hills. But today was spectacular with all the wildflowers! That land is truly special with so many native species in just that small area! Really beautiful.
