⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had such a wonderful experience here! The food was fantastic — we had the house-made pasta with white wine, and everything was delicious. The peach cobbler for dessert was easily one of the highlights and an absolute must-try! But what truly made our experience exceptional was our server, Clay. He was AMAZING! He took the time to explain every dish, gave us excellent recommendations, and genuinely seemed to know the menu inside and out. More importantly, he is such a natural people person — friendly, attentive, funny, knowledgeable, and incredibly good at what he does. Great food can make for a good dinner, but an awesome server can turn it into a memorable experience, and Clay did exactly that. He made our evening 10x better. If you come here, definitely ask for Clay — you’ll be in great hands! Fantastic food, incredible service, and that peach cobbler was the perfect ending. We’ll absolutely be back! 🙌

If you haven't been to Clay Pigeon Food & Drink , just go! I promise you will not regret it. We went today for our wedding anniversary and this was by far the best yet!! Not only did they go above and beyond to make the night special, the food was phenomenal and atmosphere perfect. Had all 3 appetizers I was wanting- bone marrow, caviar deviled eggs, and steak tartar. I had the duck and hubby had the Cowboy Ribeye, best steak he's ever had and he's hard to please. Same with the duck! Looks like we found a new go to restaurant, we will be back!

My husband and I went to Clay Pigeon for what ended up being our last date night before becoming parents. I was very pregnant at the time, and during our visit my husband mentioned this to the owner. He was incredibly kind and took the time to chat with us about his own experience becoming a parent. To make the evening even more special, they treated us to dessert and sent us home with a handwritten note. It was such a thoughtful gesture that we will never forget. Everyone there was warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly. The food was fantastic, but the hospitality is what truly stood out. 10/10 recommend. We will absolutely be back!

I’m visiting from out of town for work and glad I swing by this side of Fort Worth (I stayed at the Hilton). Ordered Steak Tartare,Duck Breast,and Affogato. Everything was spot on. Steak Tartare taste fresh,bouncy,and not overly seasoned. Duck Breast was cooked to perfect medium,and the mushroom and the sauce was too darn good. The Affogato was so good,I ordered the 2nd one. 10/10

We had such a wonderful evening at Clay Pigeon. Ethan, our waiter was superb, I felt we had the table for the night. Everything we tasted was delicious. I suggest going and trying everything, you will not be disappointed! The bartender made amazing non alcoholic drinks that were flavorful and nuanced, I did not feel I was missing anything in not ordering a cocktail. The atmosphere feels special, but you will see people dressed in anything from cocktail dresses to jeans.

A very nice experience overall. We made a reservation which certainly made seating easier, which I would recommend. Valet parking is available at the door, but you can also find nearby street parking if you're willing to walk a block or two. The atmosphere was very nice and the servers were present and knowledgeable. We had the pan-roasted salmon and the house-made pasta of the day with shrimp and lump crab in a cream sauce. Both were excellent. The salmon was perfectly cooked and had a nice accompanying salad that fit well. The pasta was perfectly cooked, and there was a decent portion of shrimp and crab with it. The cream sauce was delicious as well. All in all, this was a great experience. Be aware that you will need to spend in the $50+ range if you are quite hungry. Our meal was in the $30-35 per person range which fit a light-moderate appetite. You will probably need an appetizer, side, salad, or dessert to complete your meal, which is what they probably expect.

This was a wonderful experience. Went for dinner order a cocktail and a cocktail, 2 appetizers and a charcuterie board. Followed by 2 entries. The waitress wa polite and knowledgeable every bite was fresh and we'll prepared. First time having steak tartar and it was sublime. Compliments to the Chef for a stand out meal.

We were looking for a mid-range, but elevated date night experience and Clay Pigeon NAILED IT! Overall a thoroughly enjoyable experience and would highly recommend! We were able to easily make a 7:15pm Friday reservation the day before (on Thursday afternoon) via Resy (though I wouldn't be surprised if you need to do so farther in advance for popular occasions). Upon arriving, the restaurant was about half capacity and we (a party of 2) were sat at a very small table against the wall; we felt a little claustrophobic and asked the hostess if we could switch to one of the slightly larger 2-seated tables - she happily accommodated. The atmosphere is relaxed and homey, with a slightly modern industrial appeal. The service is impeccable! Everyone is very friendly and you are waited on by multiple individuals. It's the type of restaurant where you receive new utensils between courses and they fold your napkin for you when you rise (nice touches like this always leave an impression). The restrooms also featured individual hand towels for use, to toss in a hamper when done - much more elevated than paper towels or dryers. We were sat around 7:05pm and left around 8:45pm for a very casual and enjoyable dining experience. We each ordered two cocktails: - (2) extra dirty vodka martini with blue cheese olives, which was made quite well - (1) "Spice Up Your Life" (Woodford Reserve, Cherry Heering, Ancho Reyes, Tempus Fugit Crème de Cacao) A little sweeter than expected and very strong, but overall enjoyable - (1) "Kentucky Hug Sour" (Maker’s 46, Lemon, Sugar, Egg White) delicious and well-made whiskey sour with a perfect combination of sour, sweet and froth. For appetizers we shared: - Grilled Bone Marrow: Parsley & Fennel Salad – Sourdough. Absolutely buttery and delicious. We loved the pickled onions. Definitely a must! - Burrata Salad: Green Garlic Pistou – Snow Peas – Asparagus – Speck. This was probably my favorite thing we ordered. Wonderful proportions and so fresh tasting! I'm trying to figure out how I could replicate this for dinner parties at home. The entrees and side we shared: - Grilled duck breast: Roasted Mushrooms – Fennel Soubise – Cherry Jus. The duck was cooked perfectly! And the cherry jus was what made it perfect in my opinion. - Fresh Catch (red snapper on our visit): Green Garlic – Roasted Artichokes – Snap Peas – Charred Lemon. The fish was so brightly flavored and cooked perfectly. Between the burrata salad appetizer and this entree, I have GOT to research green garlic. Sauce was perfection! - Side of Mac N Cheese (no bacon): we love trying macaroni and cheese at nice restaurants. This one did not disappoint. Creamy with a rich flavor, wonderful spiral pasta and a touch of breadcrumbs Dessert we shared: - Chocolate coffee pot de creme: Basically mocha mousse. Small proportion visually, but we were already stuffed and it's so rich that it was just the right amount. Nice way to end a delicious meal. With four cocktails, two appetizers, two entrees, one side, one dessert + tip: our meal was between $200-$300, as expected since the prices are available online - which I always appreciate. It was the nicest dinner we have been on in a long time, and we'll definitely be coming back. Between the atmosphere, the food and the service: the evening felt intimately special.

After a recommendation from a close friend, we chose the Clay Pigeon for our anniversary dinner. We were greeted with a complimentary glass of champagne which was such a nice touch! We had the smoked salmon appetizer, Caesar salad, tomato soup, pasta special (handmade pasta with seafood ragu) and the catch of the day special (Texas redfish with the most delicious sauce of life!). Overall it was a lovely, romantic meal, with such a great ambiance and friendly staff. We will absolutely be back!

My husband and I dined at clay pigeon for our 4 year anniversary and every thing from the drinks, appetizers, entrees, service, and atmosphere was incredible!!! We decided this is now our new anniversary restaurant we will be going to every year. Highly highly recommend the salmon as it's literally some of the best I've ever had!

Clay Pigeon has by far one of the best seasonally curated menus in Fort Worth. Each and every dish we tried was perfectly balanced and a great blend of flavours. The bone marrow is a must try appetiser!

It’s been a minute since we went for our anniversary in March 😅, but I wanted to make sure I wrote a review and shared pics! The atmosphere was so classy, and our waitress was amazing. The food was delicious from beginning to end. We came just for the bone marrow, but were so tickled that everything went so far above our expectations. This was perfect for our anniversary. It’s a bit pricey, but we thought it was well worth it and perfect for a special occasion.

Food was good. Service was excellent. We went on a Tuesday night to celebrate our anniversary. We had the marrow, which was great on the bread. Also had the pimento cheese croquettes (they came out teally fast). They were good. The sauce served with them was really good (and spicy). My wife had the house made pasta with shrimp, which was excellent. I had the duck breast. It was ok. It reminded me of pork tenderloin. The side of kale, sweet potatoes, apples, and onions with it was "meh." Sweet potatoes were undercooked and a little hard. Overall, pretty good. We had two teas, and our bill before tip was $112, so it's a little pricey. We parked about a half block away on the street, so it was pretty close.
