Overall I would give it 3 out of 5 stars. We live about 50 minutes away and were going to Ft Worth. We asked google where to go for best margaritas. Google suggested Joe T. Garcia's. This is our review from start to finish. For starters you wait in what appears to be a long line to get your table, however the line is deceiving and moves quickly because the restaurant is really big. However, it's largely outdoors/ patio, so keep that in mine pending on the weather. If I'd realized we didn't have an option to sit inside in early September I would have gone somewhere else.I tred to go to to the bar and get us drinks while my husband held our spot. I waited 10 minutes to get to the front and be told bar was cash only (I only had card). Then we waited about 15 more minutes for our table. Our server was friendly and gave us good service.I order a rocks margarita with grand Marnier and it was delicious, but my husband ordered a frozen swirl and it was meh. Not worth the $ for the size, and certainly not the best margarita around. Thanks for nothing google. The salsa was the most delicious part of the meal. Overall it was underwhelming. We eat majority Tex Mex and this was not it. We would not go back. It was just meh all around. We ordered queso and split combination fajitas. It was fine but not good, certainly not great. Here's the craziest part and reason they lose a full star- the entire place is Cash only in 2024. You have to use their ATM and get out cash to pay. NO! That's a nuisance and means fees x2. There are no signs anywhere telling you this before you wait 30 minutes and then are seated. So frustrating.

Long wait but worth it I suppose. Excellent service. Not a variety on the menu but it was good food. Loved the bottle waters for those waiting in the heat and long line.

I use to love this resturant. I have been going there for over 50 years. Now that I live farther away, I don't go as often. Today, I had the Enchilada Dinner. The cheese on the nachos was not as sharp in flavor as I remembered it. The taste was very bland. But I was really suprised at the temperature of the enchiladas, beans, and rice. It was room temperature. I do not like to complain, I just choose to take my business elsewhere. Next time I go to Fort Worth I think I will go to Esperanzas or Los Vaqueros.

Absolutely delicious food. Phenomenal service. Stunning atmosphere. You cannot go wrong with anything on the menu, because everything is amazing. Our waitress (Vanessa) was the kindest ever!! VANESSA NEEDS A RAISE!!! Also, unless it’s raining, definitely eat outside. It’s so pretty out there and I’m pretty sure it makes the food taste better:)

The food was delicious and portions generous as always. The family fajitas are plenty for 2 adults and a child. Cheese and sour cream are $2 extra, each but a tasty addition if you like with your meal. The beef fajitas are the best choice. The chicken fajitas are cooked wonderfully yet had a sauce coating them for additional flavor. We could have done without that sauce or less of it. The chips and salsa are great but unfortunately only one option of "mild-med" heat salsa. We always walk the patio after our meal and it is beautiful & well kept. There were new spring flowers and plants. Several water fountains, statues, planters and more to marvel.

Read most of the reviews before going here. Despite the majority of negative reviews, we decided to go anyways. Both lines , one for dining in the restaurant and get other for dining in the garden area were an hour and a half to a two hour wait. I agree, the food is average , definitely not worth an hour and a half wait. I think people go here so they can say they went. Margaritas were not at all what they had been hyped up to be. It was just a “meh” place e to me. Garden area was beautiful and the portions of good are generous. Would I go back? Probably not but who knows, when in Texas …

This place is a quiet corner in Ft Worth and took me by surprise. Upon arrival there was a line out the door. The line was for outdoor seating. Being just 2 we were allowed to be seated inside immediately. The menu really doesn’t exist which is pretty cool. Enchiladas or Fajitas. We chose one of each. Combo on the fajitas. Everything was brought promptly and perfectly executed. Laci was our server and did a wonderful job of paying attention to us and attending us.The food was good and appropriate with the kitchen machine they have there. This place is amazingly huge and can be a wonderful place for special events. Please visit. I recommend .

This restaurant is probably the most famous in Fort Worth, attracting a crowd of largely non-Hispanic patrons. Despite offering a limited menu, the food quality doesn't quite measure up. I primarily visit to treat my guests to a unique dining experience rather than for the food itself. While the cuisine isn't bad, it could benefit from some improvements. The restaurant features both indoor and outdoor seating, with the outdoor patio being particularly pleasant in good weather. Expect a lengthy wait outside before being seated. Although the restaurant is highly acclaimed, its food falls short of authentic Mexican cuisine. However, I appreciate the effort to honor Mexican culture through the building's design. Interestingly, the servers, mostly young prickly white women, don't quite fit the expected profile for a Mexican restaurant, but everyone has their own preferences. Worth a visit, but certainly not a go-to.Its cash-only policy can be inconvenient for foodies who don’t know ahead of time.
