I had a fantastic evening here with my wife and one of her girlfriends. Tony, our waiter, was phenomenal. Very charming and we laughed all evening. Food and service were excellent as well. Atmosphere was intimate and reminiscent of family dinners. We will definitely be back!

How have we not found this place earlier. This is a quaint restaurant inside a house. The staff is very friendly and the food is phenomenal. I had one of the specials, the Chilean Sea Bass and it was cooked perfectly. We started with the meatball appetizer as well as the garlic bread. That garlic bread deserves a special mention, a must order. The reason I gave a 4 start review for atmosphere was because it got very noisy as it filled up to the point that I could hardly hear the discussion across a four top. Other than that it was a tremendous experience. We will be back.

The food was delicious, the staff were nice and professional, and we didn't feel crammed inside like other restaurants. The lobster ravioli and penned pasta were cooked perfectly, we could've eaten about 5 loaves of the garlic bread, and the cappuccino pie to cappuccino off made for a perfect dinner. We will definitely be back for more date nights!

It is not my desire to leave a negative review, but I truly feel this needs to be shared to those hosting events at Piolas. We hosted my son’s rehearsal dinner on the patio at Piola's. We met with Donna twice to review the menu and wine options, and we dined there several times beforehand. With 67 guests and extensive planning and decorating, we were anticipating the perfect evening! While the food itself was good as always and the waitstaff were excellent, the QUANTITY and PLATE SIZE of the food were a major disappointment and, frankly, an embarrassment for us with our guests. My husband and I, along with the bride and groom, were among the last six people to be served in the buffet line, and by that time, three of the six food items were completely gone. To our surprise, no additional food was brought out to the buffet. In addition, all items—including the salad—were served on salad sized plates rather than dinner plates, resulting in crowded portions that were noticeably small. This was far less food than we expected or paid for. This issue might have been less concerning if guests had been able to go back for seconds; however, those who did were given only very small portions of what remained (vegetables and penne pasta), and some guests were not served at all. We also paid for bread service, which was forgotten so it was not brought out until the very end of the meal, after most guests had finished eating and the food had already run out. The desserts served afterwards were excellent and there was sufficient amount for the guests. When I contacted Donna after the event to share my concerns, she stated that using salad plates is standard and not an issue in the past. I find that surprising and believe it is something future customers should be clearly informed about—some may even want to consider renting dinner sized plates. When I shared concern that we ran out of food, she stated that they never know how much guests are going to eat, yet this was a SERVED buffet and portions were controlled by them, so the amount of food on the buffet was not sufficient to the guests we paid for and it was an embarrassment that they ran out of food. Piolas is one of our favorite Italian restaurants, and we will return for dinner, unfortunately, I would not recommend hosting an event there unless these details were worked out before hand.

What an incredible find! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed and treated like royalty at this incredible, and now my All-Time-Favorite, restaurant in the DFW Metroplex. An incredible wine selection of California, Italian and French wines, to go with exceptional food. The Watermelon Salad is an absolute must! Incredible flavor and not a filling appetizer. A good thing because the main entrees are exceptional. The shrimp & asparagus risotto was tender and a wonderful balance of flavors, worth perfectly (and I mean perfectly) prepared buttery shrimp. Grandma would be so proud of the individually prepared lasagna. The pasta tasted so fresh and the beef was seasoned perfectly to compliment the delicious sauce. Unfortunately. we didn't have time for dessert, but we will most certainly be back and be trying everything on the menu. Exceptional!

Dinner was perfect! We had not made a reservation, but came early enough that we were seated promptly. Besa, our server, did an excellent job taking care of us! Amazing food! Loved the bruschetta. Will return again!

We came from Frisco as we heard that this place is very nice and cozy from some friends! The ambiance inside and outside is amazing! The food was superb delicious and served fresh! We tried calamari and bruschetta because we weren’t that hungry and seriously it was the best calamari I’ve had period! Servers were nice and attentive! We just loved it!

This was our first time trying this restaurant. We had reservations and chose the patio.The atmosphere was very lovely;romantic, comfortable seating with a fireplace and ample lighting. Our waiter, Eddie, was very knowledgeable of the menu and drink selections. Unfortunately, the food was ok. Lacking seasoning and just weird combos. The short rib was cooked to perfection, but lacked flavor. The potatoes that accompanied it had a strange sour taste that, in my opinion, did not pair well with the short rib. The halibut was slightly overcooked with no seasoning. It had char marks, but desperately needed at least some salt. The tomato sauce with gnocchi was sour and also lacked seasoning. The hollandaise sauce was more like lemon with butter as it was broken and watery. The creme brulee was runny, but the flavors were really spot on. I am not sure if we caught them on a off night or if it was due to our late reservation, 815 PM on a Friday night. This meal was priced as a fine dining experience, but did not meet expectations. I'm sure there are better Italian restaurants in Fort Worth with chefs who maintain standards that would love to take your money. Skip this place.

Came for an anniversary dinner. The host was super welcoming and kind. Our waitress wasn’t as attentive as we hoped. We sat in the patio area. I wish they had more of an ambiance out there - music or something. But overall food was still very good just a little overpriced in my opinion.

So, I'm more of a Dallas person, but apparently, this spot in Fort Worth has been around for a while. If you're looking for a nice, affordable but delicious Italian restaurant, this is a good spot. It's family owned and was recommended by an Italian. The service was great and the food was delicious. We pigged out with 3 appetizers, 2 entres, and 2 desserts and did not break the bank!

We are visiting from Pennsylvania. We found Piola on line. We arrived about 20 minutes before our reservation, however, we were promptly shown to our table. We ordered " Grandma's Lasagne ". I took the first bite and I knew that I was in heaven. It was the most perfect combination of flavors I've ever experienced. I was amazed. For dessert I had tarimasu. Absolutely amazing. Miss Besa was our server and she was most gracious. We were treated so kindly. Thank you so much for a wonderful evening.
