One of the more disappointing hotels I’ve been to… don’t get me wrong, it’s still a good hotel, but to market it as a four star hotel, is not setting the right expectations…
The room is really big and comfortable, the staff were extremely friendly, and there is a complimentary wine each night.
However, there isn’t a water or ice in the entire hotel, the basement gym barely qualifies as a gym (but in their defense, they partnered with a separate gym that is around the block with better facilities), and the hotel definitely feels old.
My biggest shock was the breakfast. It is a “grab & go style” which just means they give you a paper bag to fill with muffin, yogurt, fruits and coffee. I’ve definitely had better breakfast experience at more basic and cheaper hotels.
I can confidently say that we won’t come back again since there are many more options in this area.

I was in Fort Worth on business and had the fortune of choosing The Ashton Hotel to stay for two nights. It was close to the customer I was there to see. Everything from the beginning at check in to check out was an exceptional, friendly and Knowledgeable staff to the room being cozy and comfortable and especially clean. WiFi worked great for my online meetings. Bruce, the General Manager and his Team were wonderful! I especially enjoyed my interactions with Valarie and Rodney. I’m looking forward to going back again soon and staying at The Ashton!

Rooms are a little small and dated but quaint and clean. The location is minutes from everything in cowtown and the staff was very accommodating. Definitely will be staying there again.

Our team stayed here for a 3 day meeting and have nothing but great things to say! This cute hotel is in the perfect location for great restaurants, fun things to do and cool bars. Everything is within blocks of The Ashton, including access to an amazing workout facility included with our stay.

Of course we were here to work, and from planning the meeting to suggestions on where to go, the staff at The Ashton were to notch. Tracy, our sales manager, was a prop and did an excellent job facilitating all things related to our stay and the meeting itself. She ensured that our meeting room was well stocked and prepared. Our sleeping rooms were super comfortable with lush linens and towels. Chantallie checked us in quickly, was super helpful and replied to all requests with a smile. Our AV/IT expert, Harold was very helpful and reacted to last minute requests professionally and also with a smile.

It was wonderful to stay at this lovely hotel and work with a great team of professionals - I highly recommend The Ashton and especially Tracy, Chantallie, and Harold!

For a place that is over 100 years old, this hotel is nice. Located near everything downtown town, it provides close access to the convention center and many businesses. No breakfast onsite, but places within walking distance. Rooms were decent. Quiet hotel. Bed was comfortable. European style bathroom was nice. Valet parking only, so check the cost of not included with your room rate. Would recommend staying here.
