Get the black waiter. He's a tall man. He is Loud speaking which is good and he's very entertaining. I wish I'd caught his name

I usually love the Rim. I go there very often and am very pleased, so when I saw that they were offering a holiday meal, I thought I would give it a try since the food is usually good. When I went to warm up my meal, I discovered that there was crumbled cornbread instead of dressing. Thinking they had made a mistake because they were busy, I took it back after the holiday. The manager said this is what they consider dressing. I said, ABSOLUTELY NOT. This is not dressing, it is the fordt step of dressing. She reiterated, this is what they consider dressing. She was nice about it, and refunded my money. If the Rim sees this, please do not sell this anymore. If you do not know how to make dressing, just don't offer it as a part of your meal because this is not it. I offer this low rating only because if this as my experience is usually very good at the Rim. Needless to say, I did not have dressing on the holiday, which is the must have I look forward to on the holiday.

Everything was great and it's not far from the house! Excited to see what Wednesday nights are like!

Had to change my review from a 5 to a 1. My family usually has a great experience here but today I was highly irritated. We arrived and weren't even acknowledged. We sat at the front door for almost 15 minutes before anyone came and asked us anything or even just said hello or welcome. Then I guess the manager assumed we were with another party because we were all black. Had someone taken the time to actually pay attention, they would have seen that we were not even standing near or with them. We're finally sat down only for us to have to wait even longer for anyone to come greet us at our table. I honestly don't want to give them any of my money after this experience.

Rim was picked because of the customer 's high rating. The atmosphere was cozy and relaxing. The decors and music were impressive. Our waiter was extremely friendly and courtesy. Ordered the ultimate messy sandwich with homemade potato chips, teddy b gone with sweet potato fries, chicken fried steak with mac and cheese, and buttered mashed. The chicken and buttered mashed was good, but the green beans were salty.
Ordered the fish and chip because the restaurant was
out of catfish. The foods were good, but some items were salty but eatable (ultimate messy). The hushpuppies were undercooked. The manager apologizes for the salty foods and undercooked hushpuppies. Maybe my family came on an off day because the service was slow and the foods were just okay.
The restaurant ran out collard greens.

First time guest. Impressed!

Pictured here: meat lovers pizza, renfro street queso, and pot roast. The pizza was flavorful. Pot roast was good but could’ve had more flavor. Carrots tender and sweet, green beans were soft and flavorful, mashed potatoes could’ve been more moist but good flavor. The winner was definitely the homemade chips and queso with street corn. Phenomenal!! Atmosphere is nice, service is really good too. Overall fantastic experience will return.

I am a Jamaican and I spend a lot of time in the kitchen but when I do take my wife out to eat, this is definitely on the list of places to go. Great atmosphere the food was top tier. We will be going back for sure.

Overall : the staff was amazing, and the decor was awesome!!

The food was just okay, but it was affordable with a great portion size.

Rae was our server, she was incredibly kind and informative. Her service was overwhelmingly great! The food is to die for!! Would recommend this chicken and waffles, and Rae as a server. Great experience:)
