Waters Restaurant in downtown Fort Worth delivered one of the best seafood experiences we’ve had in a long time. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt upscale but still relaxed and welcoming. Downtown Fort Worth has a lot of great restaurants, but Waters really stands out if you’re a seafood lover—especially if you appreciate fresh oysters and knowledgeable service.
The oyster selection was incredible. Instead of just offering a couple basic options, they had a wide variety of oysters from different regions, each with its own unique flavor profile. Some were briny and crisp, others were buttery and smooth, and it was really fun getting to taste the differences side-by-side. You can tell they take pride in sourcing high-quality seafood, and everything tasted extremely fresh. If you enjoy oysters even a little bit, this is absolutely the place to go in Fort Worth.
A big part of what made the evening great was our server, Andrew. He was fantastic from start to finish—attentive without hovering, very knowledgeable about the menu, and clearly passionate about the food. When we asked about the oysters, he walked us through the different varieties, where they were from, and what made each one unique. That kind of service makes a huge difference and really elevates the entire dining experience. Andrew made sure everything came out perfectly timed and checked on us just enough to make sure we had everything we needed.
Beyond the oysters, everything about the experience felt polished and well run. The staff worked together seamlessly, the food was beautifully presented, and the overall vibe of the restaurant made it a great spot for a nice dinner downtown.
If you’re in Fort Worth and want top-tier seafood, Waters is absolutely worth visiting. Between the amazing oyster selection, the great atmosphere, and the outstanding service from Andrew, this place earns every bit of a five-star review. We’ll definitely be back.
