Excellent seafood restaurant on Sundance Square in Fort Worth. Our server was excellent, both attentive and informative. We had the Halibut and the Scallop special. The Haricot version were very good. A bit more al dente would have been great. The albarino was excellent. It has been many years since we have visited and we will be back.

I broke my own rule of ordering steak at a seafood place, and I'm glad I did. An artfully presented filet mignon was delicious with black truffle butter and mashed potatoes. I added a crab cake which was amazing! The goat cheese salad had the perfect texture of a ripe tomato slice, garlic ranch dressing and arugula. The impressive bite of the evening came from the roasted corn and cheddar hush puppies. They were so heavenly and light, not dense like hush puppies usually are. The creole spice honey butter served with them opened up the sweet corn taste and really brought the flavors together.

Service was outstanding from start to finish—friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. The oysters were delicious and fresh. Fish and chips, the lobster special, and dessert were all wonderful. Finished with a fantastic bourbon flight. Highly recommend this spot in Sundance Square for great seafood in a relaxed, upscale vibe. We'll be back!

Superb place to get a high class meal in downtown Fort Worth. The service was impeccable- our waitress Courtney W. was amazing! She made some excellent suggestions and got our orders perfect - I would go back just to have her wait on us.
We got starters of oysters texasfellar and tuna tartare, followed by the salmon (shared), Idaho rainbow trout and crab cakes, with sides of lobster Mac and cheese, broccolini, mashed potatoes. More than enough food for 4 hungry people.
They split the salmon perfectly into 2 plates. The crab cakes were fantastic, and the trout was perfect.
They have bottled beer, so we got a few before the meal. Everything was so well timed. Definately stop by when in Fort Worth. They were able to get us in for a 6pm seating on a busy Saturday night.

We’ve been coming to Waters for years and have always had a great meal. The halibut is one of my favorite dishes. Tonight was no exception, however, I was disappointed to hear the icebox lemon cheesecake was removed from the dessert menu. The lemon cheesecake they have now was still delicious but I always looked forward to this dessert every time we came. Please bring this dessert back!

Waters Restaurant in downtown Fort Worth delivered one of the best seafood experiences we’ve had in a long time. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt upscale but still relaxed and welcoming. Downtown Fort Worth has a lot of great restaurants, but Waters really stands out if you’re a seafood lover—especially if you appreciate fresh oysters and knowledgeable service.

The oyster selection was incredible. Instead of just offering a couple basic options, they had a wide variety of oysters from different regions, each with its own unique flavor profile. Some were briny and crisp, others were buttery and smooth, and it was really fun getting to taste the differences side-by-side. You can tell they take pride in sourcing high-quality seafood, and everything tasted extremely fresh. If you enjoy oysters even a little bit, this is absolutely the place to go in Fort Worth.

A big part of what made the evening great was our server, Andrew. He was fantastic from start to finish—attentive without hovering, very knowledgeable about the menu, and clearly passionate about the food. When we asked about the oysters, he walked us through the different varieties, where they were from, and what made each one unique. That kind of service makes a huge difference and really elevates the entire dining experience. Andrew made sure everything came out perfectly timed and checked on us just enough to make sure we had everything we needed.

Beyond the oysters, everything about the experience felt polished and well run. The staff worked together seamlessly, the food was beautifully presented, and the overall vibe of the restaurant made it a great spot for a nice dinner downtown.

If you’re in Fort Worth and want top-tier seafood, Waters is absolutely worth visiting. Between the amazing oyster selection, the great atmosphere, and the outstanding service from Andrew, this place earns every bit of a five-star review. We’ll definitely be back.

Had great seafood and a very nice meal here. More importantly, they had great allergen friendly options with dedicated gluten free AND dairy free menus, plus knowledgeable servers. Huge win for GF and DF options - thank you!

While in Texas, people want to try a steak but as this is the second trip to DFW, walking around the hotel we found this place.
The setup is nice, the decor is nice and it’s a trendy place.
We tried the crab cake, tuna tartare, fried oysters and goat cheese salad and colleague tried the halibut fish with gnocchi.

If you want to eat seafood in Ft. Worth, THIS is the best place to do so! Everything that was ordered, from drinks appetizers, mains, sides, & desert, tasted fantastic and fresh. The service is impeccable, too... you really feel like they are catering to your every wish.

Food and service are excellent but prices are rising quite a bit making it harder to recommend outside of special occasions.
They do have a happy hour oyster deal that is worth checking out.

Our first experience at Waters and many more to come hopefully. This is our new favorite downtown restaurant in Fort Worth. We celebrated our anniversary here and went to the symphony after. Waters helped contribute in making a memorable evening as special as one could hope.

We visited for our anniversary. We ourdered a house salad and a lump crab and avocado salad, dirty rice, lobster macaroni, lobster and a 14 oz ribeye. All of the food was good except the dirty rice. The hostess Lydia was great. The waiter was ok. The restaraunt was overhyped by a hotel member where we stayed. For the price I would have preferred Del Frisco, Ruth Chris, or Eddie V's.
