I thoroughly enjoyed the most delicious omelette and arugula salad. Sitting on the patio was such a treat since it was a lovely day.

We arrived at 12:30, and were somehow forgotten about after being seated. We had to get up and get our water ourselves and we didn’t get our food until 1:50 after I had to get up and ask them twice if we were still being served. Very disappointed, we were quickly meeting with an old friend and wanted this to be a non-time-consuming lunch. They offered us a discount and were apologetic, which I appreciate. However, in the future, I will be avoiding coming here. I would suggest looking elsewhere if you want to be served in a timely manner.

My family and I recently had the pleasure of having our Easter Brunch at Café Modern, and it was truly a delightful experience. From the moment we walked in, the manager, Jamie Hollerby, greeted us warmly and made us feel right at home. It was evident that Jamie was well-acquainted with many patrons, adding a personal touch to our visit. The entire staff at the restaurant was exceptional - from the friendly and attentive server, Jeannette, to the kind and accommodating staff member, Figen. Their dedication to ensuring our satisfaction throughout the meal was truly commendable.Let's discuss the food - the highlight of our culinary experience at Café Modern. The brunch buffet offered various delectable options, each prepared carefully and precisely. I was particularly drawn to the flavorful Shrimp and Grits, the crispy Tostada, the succulent lamb, and the decadent Piña Colada Rum Baba that left me craving more. The diverse selection of sweet and savory menu catered to every palate, making Café Modern an ideal destination for those seeking a memorable dining experience. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking a culinary adventure that promises to satisfy all tastes.

Husband and I went for Sunday brunch. We got to sit by the water and watch the ducks. The surroundings were peaceful and calm, as you would expect for a museum cafe, with light music in the background. The food was delicious. We ordered the burger and the chilequiles and told our server that we like to share plates. She brought out our food cut in half on separate plates. In all the years we've been sharing, no one has ever done that before. I was delighted at the thoughtfulness and enjoyed the delicious meal in the beautiful atmosphere. Then we walked the museum.

I went for Sunday brunch and was immensely impressed! Service was impeccable and the food was absolutely decadent! It was unclear on the menu that the Korean fried chicken came with waffles, but I was so pleasantly surprised with the best chicken and waffles I've ever had in life. I also ordered the salad which was light and delicious. My companion ordered the burger and said that it was really good as well. I also like that they serve Acqua Panna which, in my opinion, is the best water, lol :) It was a calm and quiet atmosphere. We sat by the window with a nice view of the water. The icing on the cake was the fact that the museum had free entry on that day, so we were able to walk around and take pictures after our meal. It was a great brunch experience that I highly recommend and would absolutely do again!

Arrived at 11 am and basked in the stillness. The bread was outstanding. The French mimosa was also excellent. The quinoa salad and bolognese were a small step above average. We tried the mini pistachio eclair bites with matcha ice cream, the sweet potato creme brulee and the red wine poached pear cobbler with ginger ice cream--each of which was $15. Pro tip--arrive at 11 am because as the restaurant fills up, the noise level goes up
