The portions are huge. The grilled veggie plate could feed 2 men! Hehe They have a 7ft huge large round table in a small room that was fun and cozy... Seats 10. Wait staff is super nice and really know the menu. Biscuits and cornbread mini muffins were yummy! They have everything on the menu. A wonderful place to gather, so go and have fun too.

Went here to surprise my lady with her friends! We had a group of four and the service was wonderful. The food was also great! We were all really excited to try this place for the first time and it didn’t disappoint! The biscuits and corn bread were a great start. The main courses were also delicious! The thing that really stood out though was the dessert! We tried all three of them but the seasonal peach crème brûlée was the star of the show. Outside of the delicious food, the restaurant was a little hot. Other than that, this was a great visit and I will certainly be coming back!

Delightful dining experience at Reata in Ft. Worth! We had tamales to start with, then enjoyed the carne asada with cheese enchiladas, the chicken fried steak, and a striped sea bass special, accompanied by habanero Margaritas. Everything was great, just be mindful that portions are HUGE so either come ready to eat a lot, share a lot or take back home a lot! Service was excellent too, super attentive, we had a great time all around!

We were surprised to find a delicious vegetarian main course lined up with all the beef, poultry, and fish. This place is known for its beef but they should also get credit for their fresh cooked veggies, and don't get me started on their jalapeno grits and pecan biscuits! The server was friendly and attentive. All other staff were delightful as well. I can't wait to come back again soon.

Food was good , Service not so much . Had a party of 22 people . We wanted split checks and we all ordered accordingly. We got the checks and everything got messed up. Seemed to be a simple fix right . No literally an hour later the check was finally figured out. Had 3 people plus the manager to get it right. It was a birthday party for my wife . Half the party left to go to the bar , we were stuck at the restaurant dealing with this mess. After we got over to the other place some of them left thinking we weren’t coming . It just made for a bad night out .Things happen but there are way to many nicer restaurants in Fort Worth we won’t be going back here.

On a short visit to Fort Worth, locals pointed us toward Reata. From start to finish, the whole experience was downright spectacular. They kicked things off with bread, butter, and little scones so good I could’ve polished off the whole basket. The Tenderloin Tamales starter had a unique spin—tasty for sure, even if it wasn’t my personal favorite. When it came to the main event, I told the server the kind of steak I was after, and he steered me right to the Blackened Buffalo Ribeye with Cook’s Butter. It was melt-in-your-mouth tender and cooked just the way I like it. Even the veggies and potatoes had that “made with care” flavor that had me cleaning my plate, big portion or not. We wrapped up this Texas feast with the Strawberry Cheesecake Crème Brûlée—a creative twist on dessert that was as sweet as a Texas sunset. The restaurant itself had that true Texas-style charm in its design, which tied the whole experience together perfectly. Will I go back to this restaurant? Reata isn’t just dinner, it’s a full-on Texas experience I’d come back for any day.

We tried Reata on 11/9/24. My nephew had recommended it. The service here is impeccable and very attentive. The floor manager came by to visit and make sure we were well taken care of. Contrary to most places the managers here are engaging and genuine in there approach. The menu wasn't extensive but offered a number of items I wanted to try. The Buffalo steak was excellent. We did have our 3 year old grand niece in tow that evening. They do not have a children's menu, per se, but have an unofficial list they told us they have. We asked for a grilled cheese sandwich which I didn't recall on the list. There response was, it will be right out. She loved it. We are foodies and Reata has made our list of restaurants. Give it a try.

Reata is still pretty damn good! I highly suggest the Chicken Fried Steak! It's a great place for out of town guests, especially a business meeting.

Went here for our 10th wedding anniversary and they offered us a complementary glass of champagne for the occasion, the food was incredible and our server was just a delight. He really made our night special with a genuine positive demeanor and a sweet gesture of chocolate covered strawberries on a plate with happy anniversary written on the plate and a beautiful card signed by the whole staff. 1000000/10 will most certainly be back again. Thank you so much to the whole staff for making our anniversary one to remember 🥰

We came to Reata while in town on spring break. We booked a reservation for 6, but decided to go early. The table was ready when we arrived, but we went to the rooftop bar for one drink first. It was fun and a great view! We then were seated right away. The waiter Brandon knew was knowledgeable about the menu and the restaurant’s favorites. My husband got the carne asada and I got the citrus chicken - both so yummy! Oh and actually can’t forget about the biscuits and cornbread they brought out first - amazing! Then for dessert we were shown all the options and given explanations. We went with the dessert tacos which were fabulous. And overall we spent just under $100 so not too shabby! Definitely recommend!

We had the pleasure to enjoy this beautiful restaurant probably for our last time. They will be relocating soon and the view from the roof top will be gone. The food was amazing and the staff is exceptional.

This restaurant exceeded our expectations. The food was fantastic; we enjoyed a salad, tamales appetizers, a bison burger, and carne asada enchilada—all delicious. Their variety of cornbread and focaccia was absolutely delightful. The decor evokes the ambiance of the old oil tycoon era, transporting you to another time.
