First time dining at Walloons, they got us seated much faster than our original wait time which was nice (our fault for not making reservations) the tables were a little closer together than we would have liked as far as the atmosphere goes, however, the food and drinks all the way from starters through dessert were all incredible but the best part was how well Miles did taking care of us, everything he did felt like it was done with a nice personal touch. We will definitely be back and definitely ask for Miles again.

My wife suggested Walloon's for our daughter's birthday lunch, after seeing a discussion on "Fort Worth Foodies". We arrived a bit out of the typical lunch window due to work commitments, so it was quiet. My wife and I got the Red Fish beer battered fish and chips special. Our daughter got the Seafood Mac and Cheese. We all shared all of it, and all were wonderful! The batter on the fish was light and crispy. The Mac and Cheese was loaded with seafood. Our daughter had a gimlet and loved it. We shared a " Something Chocolate" a very rich dark chocolate mousse, which was fine split 3 ways after a great lunch.
It was a bit pricy, about $40 per person with just one cocktail and one dessert, but was great for a special occasion.

The manager Karen I believe her name is. I over heard her talking to one of the female servers in an disrespectful awful way. The way the server reacted you can easily tell that, that is their normal. I just wanted to take my parents to a great dinner but we can over hear the way she was talking to them. My parents instantly wanted to leave but luckily my good friends recommended this restaurant so we stayed. We asked our server about Karen and he said that how she always talks to them.

I recommend replacing Karen or putting her on thin ice if you want to keep an atmosphere where people want to work.

It’s honestly awful. I hope the waiters have a better night then when we were there.

Walloon's strikes a rare balance: polished enough for a nice night out but relaxed enough that you don't feel guilty ordering one more cocktail. The seafood was fresh, the menu is full of interesting choices that make narrowing down an order surprisingly difficult, and everything we tried was well executed. The oysters were small, but still fresh and delicious. If you're looking for great seafood, creative drinks, and an atmosphere that makes lingering over dinner feel like the right decision, Walloon's is well worth the visit.

Had the happy hour Margaritas that were wonderful. Side note the simple syrup can be left out upon request.

The trout almondine had two good sized, skin on, fillets with green beans. Tasty trout and perfectly done green bean.

The crab cake had lots of crab but on the salty side for my liking, but I don't use much salt anyway.

Shared the chocolate mousse which was very smooth and not so sweet. Probably made with a dark chocolate. It was wonderful. If sharing, have them put to dollops of whip cream so that both parties have their own.

The restaurant did seam cool and some tables drafty. Come prepared if y'all get cold easily.

The service was wonderful and the food was even better. It was a really great night with fantastic waiters and really good food and recommendations. The drinks from the bar were well mixed and tasty. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a good night.

We've lived in FtW for years and not visited Walloon's until this very (Saturday) evening. We absolutely loved everything about this restaurant. The drinks. The service. The atmosphere. And of course the food! It's a perfect spot, too, for a date with your partner.

There was a buzz tonight. Many peeps attending the FtW Stock Show & Rodeo were having dinner. Our server was also attentive, kind, and boxed up the leftovers. We forgot her name, but she was skinny, a little short, and had black hair.

We started with two cocktails from the Limited Time Only menu: the spicy marg and the TX Whiskey drink. I enjoyed the Beer-Battered Redfish Beignets and the Crispy Chicken Sandwich w/ Pommes Frites. Everything was hot, crispy, seasoned well, and cooked to perfection.

I'll be back for the Italian Beef and Trout Almondine.

This restaurant has great seafood. The trout albacore and reddish dishes are really good. I definitely recommend making a reservation. We didn't have one, and while we got seated quickly, it was at a very small seafood bar area. If you need a table, make a reservation.

Im gonna tell everyone I know to come to this restaurant. It’s an absolute gem! Servers are kind & welcoming. The food is breathtakingly delicious & the drinks are also tasty & carefully crafted. Had the Louisiana BBQ Shrimp for starters. Then the Steak Frites as my entree. Cherry on top was their dim lighting & playing Bill Withers softly on their speakers. Knocked the ball right out of the park.

My husband & I went here to celebrate our anniversary because we were recommended it by coworkers and clients. Did not disappoint at all! The crab cakes were my favorite part and were so fresh and crispy. Kamryn was our server and was absolutely amazing. Even though this is a 5 star review, I probably wouldn’t bring my kids here. The space is a little tight and I don’t know if there is a kids menu available. This place reminds me of the Union Oyster House in Boston and has an intimate setting. We plan to come back soon with friends :)

Best new restaurant in Fort Worth, hands down. The service is always impeccable, the food is always excellent with attention to detail, and all with perfect atmosphere and great drinks. Couldn't be happier with this place. And now they are doing brunch! One of the best eggs Benedict I've had in a while. The ham was perfect and not chewy with deliciously rich Hollandaise and perfectly poached eggs.

Had a great meal and experience at Walloon’s two weekends ago. Started off with the Seafood Tower(worth the splurge) which included oysters, JUMBO shrimp, a flavorful tuna crudo, and the most amazing seafood dip I’ve ever had. They don’t serve it as it own dish, but I would order it every time if they did. After the tower was the Crispy Calamari salad and the lobster Mac, both of which deserve their own spotlight and hit all the right spots. They even split the plates for my date and I which is always a nice touch when you get without having to ask.

Walloon’s is incredible. Included in the pictures are the notes I added under my reservations (three hours prior). They ran out of oysters but the manager mentioned our notes during the staff meeting and held a seafood tower for us. Heather our waitress was spectacular and we have loved everything about our experience tonight.
